Where are some interesting places to see Amish people and the countryside.We are coming from the Buffalo area, staying in Virginia for a few nights, and then on to Myrtle Beach.

Well my guess is you might go through centeral PA? well I live in south west PA and there is a place called Indiana, its a small town(14,000) but just north of it is some amish country.

Also, its a few miles away from where the groundhog comes out in feburary!

There is a place in Ohio known to be called as Amish Country too. The place has homemade Amish dinner restaourants, cheese factories and lots of hills! Though I really don't know where in Virginia you can find Amish People, but make Ohio your next vacation stop.

I'd have to say Lancaster, Pennsylvania...but you are going in the other direction...
