Far too often than I care to admit. I hate hurting people. So often it's pointless. I know it's wrong. Maybe just as wrong as the big lies.

Maybe I'm too honest, but I really don't see the point in "little white lies". It's those big ones that get you in trouble, but little ones are just as bad when you're caught. When I was very young, I would lie to keep from being in trouble, but it always ended up more trouble than just telling the truth. I think I eventually learned that. Now, I'm brutally honest and don't hesitate at all to tell the truth.

I don't lie. When I was about 10, I did something and lied to my Mom about it. She knew I did it. She whipped my bare butt for lying. I don't think I've told a boldface lie since then. If I told a "little white lie", it was to protect someone. Now, I have my own daughter. I won't lie or that's teaching her to do it and I can't tolerate that. No double standards allowed.

I don't know how to lie...honestly. Call it a weakness, I call it my hugest strength. I can be open and tell the truth even if it hurts. Lies always catch up with you, so there's no sense in doing it.

You want the truth on that?

I think it has to do with fear. Weak people white lie constantly. Only God can cure it.

Every now and again. But usually, it's just to be polite or to avoid explaining things to my son that he doesn't need to know right now!

Seldomly. I do so once in a while to be honest. I only do so if I have a really good reason though.
