Go into the Control Panel and click on the User icon
You can create a second account for the second user and then set a password on each of the accounts.

Go to control panel then click user accounts. Then click 'Create New Account'. You will then have to give it a name of your choice. cick next and then you will have to choose if you are an administrator i.e. you will have the most control over the PC. Or if the account will be limited i.e. for example can't install software or make changes. Then click create account. You will be asked at some point to create a password for the account. Remember it as it's the only way to start the computer when you are finished.

if you're using windows xp, you can go to the control panel and then click on user accounts, and then set up passwords for each of you.
