The Canadian standard of living is very similar to that of the United States. For that reason, people typically do not think of Canadians as sneaking into the United States illegally, as most of the reasons that Canadians want to enter the United States is for vacations or for a business purpose with a company situated in both countries. While many Mexicans also cross for those same purposes, it is also felt that many want to come into the United States for purposes for which they will not be allowed to come legally, such as finding a job when they have no special skills or the like. While I have tremendous sympathy for these people, it doesn't matter, because most countries have the same policy, and are trying to protect the job market for their own citizens. I know this for a fact, because I am an American and I married a Canadian over two years ago, and I just recently got permission to work in Canada. I have been commuting to work in the United States for over two years. So I am here to say that it isn't easy for anyone, Americans, Canadians, or even Mexicans.

Take away YOUR prizes?! For the love of god. The USA takes OUR money just fine on the drive through, spent on gas, food, hotels, etc. It's a fair deal.

Puh-lease. Do you know how much $ in taxes is spent on bringing those "prizes" home? It'd be in our best intrest to stay in the US a while to sell the damn prizes.
Second thought, I think I'll just stay home, at least I'll only have one government trying to screw me...

At least they speak English. I say let them go on "The Price is Right". They're usually pretty amusing. I like when the women jump up and down.

"Canadians disparage the USA about so many things, ..."
Nah, I can only think of two thing we disparage the USA about, Exclusionary Practices, and Assumed Superiority.

We should forget about any kind of borders. That is so stupid. Yes, we're different races, colors, or whatever. But we have one thing in common, we're HUMANS. over 60% of the U.S. is made up of illegal "aliens". just Deal wit it.
