Dust gets trapped in the alveoli of your throat... they're like little tentacle things as far as I believe. You sneezing is your alveoli trying to get all the crap outta your throat.

Oh yeah, I think it must have something to do with wearing a full face helmet. Once I've got one on, my nose will start that little annoying itch leading up to a nice juicy,... AGGHHH! ( It's awkward on a motorcycle, and impossible when flying a glider )
