I used to always fall asleep at school on the bus in the car everywhere even now i have to take a short sleep during the day or i will feel very ill at the end of a long day so i went to the doctors, they took a blood test and found out i was anaemic and had a very low iron count, they gave me some iron pills and they are slowly making me feel a little better.
Perhaps you should do the same just to get your iron levels checked.

What age are you? You sound young so you should NOT be looking for artificial ways to stay awake!!! What would help is a decent sleep pattern. A couple of hour exercise a week,
a well balanced diet and not burning the candle at both ends. Go to bed at a reasonable hour, take a warm drink to help you get over to sleep. If you can get a full week of desent sleep you will not need the stimulants you take. Please be aware that these stimulants may lead to something stronger if you are not careful.

Please don't take any more caffine products. The trouble with caffine is that it is addictive, and the more you have of it, the less effect it will have on you, so you will need more and more to keep you awake, which is not healthy.
If you are feeling tired a lot, then probably the best thing to do is to go and see your doctor, just to see if there is any medical reason why you are so tired. Perhaps the doctor can suggest some natural ways to feel more awake, or possibly suggest some dietary changes to help with your tiredness. Please take good care of yourself!

I had a similar problem when i was at college. The doctor told me to drop all of the artificial junk i was taking to keep me awake, and recommended that i get some more excercise. I make sure i get into the gym at least three times a week, and my energy reserves have gone through the roof.
After a while, your body gets used to all the chemicals... try excercise and regular sleep. It works a treat.
Hope this helps...

Sleeping too much gets you even more sleepier during the day. Cut down on meat diet carbohydrate, eat more green food.
Longest sleep doesnt mean the healtiest sleep. Some people dont need 8 hours, study shows that sleeping less is better if our type of work does not require us to move too much.

You need to stop trying to artificially raise you energy level with caffeine, sugar and herbs... They wear off quickly and then you will crash harder. Try a good multi-vitamin with Iron. I would guess that your period is a pretty heavy flow and your iron count is low. Getting your iron level up should help your energy level. Eat a balanced diet and cut way back on sugars. If a good diet and a good supplement do not help with the sleep you say you are getting, then you need to see your doc for some blood work.

Excessive tiredness can be an indication of a number of things.
I suggest a chat with your doctor, and ask for some blood tests such as an FBC (full Blood count) He or she will be able to come up with some more specific answers for you than us lot speculating.
Good luck

Pills and stimulants just mask the problem. If you don't already, you should exercise and eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. You could also have a medical reason for tiredness such as Glandular fever, you should see a doctor.

Have a healthy breakfast, frequent meals and then get your Haemoglobin checked. Low iron levels in the body can cause fatigue and lethargy
