After the yard is covered in snow here in Michigan. 20 degrees COLDER then average. Makes you wonder where Al Gore is?

Obviously, you don't understand, so here is the basics:

- If it gets warmer, it is global warming and the sky is falling.
- If it gets colder, it is global warming and the sky is falling.
- If there are more hurricanes, it is global warming and the sky is falling.
- If there are fewer hurricanes, it is global warming and the sky is falling.
- If there is more snow, it is global warming and the sky is falling.
- If there is less snow, it is global warming and the sky is falling.

Oh, and under any condition, Bush and Republicans and corporations are evil and are destroying the Earth.

Clear?

Bah. It's been a very hot summer and it continues to be unreasonably warm for October. In 2005 there was even weeks of RAIN in January! Which is worrying since we usually have 50-100cm snowcowerage and -20 degrees celsius in january. But, hay, if it snows there, I'm sure global warming is a hoax.

No....it's not as simple as snow in Michigan....global warming is a concern because the ice at and near the north pole is now thin enough that it is melting from both the bottom & the top - not just from the top as it has done for centuries!

Amongst other things, global warming increases the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere because more water evaporates at higher temperatures. This has the effect of increasing precipitation, in the forms of both rain and snow. Hence (and somewhat counterintuitively), you tend to get worse winters when the average annual temperature is higher.

Snow in Michigan in mid october!!! I am sure that this has happened before.

Any way, Global Warming is causing the normal weather patterns to change, ocean currents, jet streams, etc, so there will be wonky weather, not necessarily just warmer weather.

Do some research.

Here in Ohio , we had a cooler than normal summer , didn't hit 100 once .

Could it be that all the talk about Global Warming was just to keep the government grants flowing to the liberal colleges ?

Or money flowing to certain politicians ?

Seen any OZONE HOLES lately ?

Meanwhile, here in UK: Essex/London border we are having a beautiful time with the temperature five or six degrees above normal. A bit of fog in the morning, but absolutely beautiful weather which promises to last.

worldwide warming believers genuinely think of the snow typhoon is using that. If it did no longer snow, its because of fact of world warming, if its chilly outdoors its because of fact of world warming. If a earthquake, twister, or hurrican occurred its because of fact of world warming. something that occurs anymore is a "results of world warming".......i detect all of this in simple terms too humorous

I think you need a better understanding of what the word, "Global" means. Michigan is NOT global.

Yeah, and here in Colorado, the first ski resort to open for the season has opened. It is the earliest opening on record for A-Basin. I think Al needs to go back to the drawing board.
