I think it has much more to do with the fact that it's not yet considered a normal way to meet people, not like meeting the actual physical person at a party/bar/through a friend. There is still a lot of stigma attached to it unfortunately, but I think over the next few decades that will change slowly - look at how attitudes changed about meeting someone (a stranger) in a bar.

Sorry... i'm not figuring you why you're mendacity approximately your age. maximum women choose for adult men some years older than them. maximum income status from relationship a senior whilst they are juniors. some years is rarely a turn-off and often a huge plus - you have a license, you're much less immature than the adult men of their instructions, etc. Now... getting caught mendacity approximately your age is with regard to the stupidest element you're able to do. maximum mothers and dads won't have an argument with a 2 or 3 365 days age distinction, in case you're up front approximately it, they are going to initiate assuming the worst.

Because of cyber-stalkers and the number of kids ending up raped and/or dead because they ran off to meet people from myspace.com without ever knowing who they really were.

Its just strange. Getting to know someone before you've physically met them is just strange. Its like a fantasy, and sometimes it should be kept that way. Some relationships should remain where they begin, in cyberspace
