Hello "JUSTIN M",
Well, a foxes diet is all about small game. This means rabbits, bugs, fish, and so on. Nothing bigger. I doubt that it would eat a small dog, because foxes are scared of them. It would not kill a dog alive, but it would eat one dead if it was starving. Usally when a dog meets another dog they bark, so if a small dog encounterd a fox. The dog would bark at it causing the fox to flee. Best regards to you and hope this answers your question! ^-^
Respectfully,
GrayFox

They'd better not try eating my dogs lol... they'd live (or not) to regret it. My JRTs, while small, would make quick work of a fox. Foxes tend to be scared of dogs in my experience, but if they were starving, they'd probably go for it. The fox is VERY unlikely to come into your yard if you're there, so if you're worried, stay outside when your dog is out.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU0tO
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

A full grown adult fox could kill a small dog yes. It might go for it if it was starving but it would prefer to look somewhere else for food.

A fox could kill a small dog. But foxes usually are only about 20 lbs themselves. They do kill cats and rabbits and chickens and eat them but any dog over the toy size should be safe.

Dogs are the villains, not foxes! Foxes eat beetles, crickets, voles, mice, squirrels, birds, fish, rabbits, fruit, nuts, grasses, and vegetables. Dogs eat dog food, meat, and foxes. Who seems like our villain here?

Primarily mice and rabbits. Unlikely to eat a small dog; foxes are actually quite small themselves.

I'm doing basic obedience right now. My trainer hasn't once handled my dog. He has shown me how to handle my dog by using his own dog but that's about it. The reasoning is that I need to learn how to do these basic corrections and what not myself. Learn more https://tinyurl.im/RSR3L
I have never considered sending my dog away for training. I guess I haven't found that much of a problem with him to even think about it.
Again, it may also have to do with the level of training you are looking for etc. No idea lol. I'm not a trainer. I think a first time dog owner needs to learn simple commands and how to handle their dog themselves as well.
