The price of aluminum radiators have made it almost a no brainer, use the aluminum. Better heat transfer, lighter weight, and less corrosion would all be benefits.
If yours isn't too damaged you may look into having it repaired, then compare the cost of repairs to the cost of replacement. More than likely, it will be more cost effective to just buy an aluminum radiator.

Aluminum is better and also all you are gonna be able to find...
there hasn't been brass in a radiator in 50 years or better

They don't use brass in radiators, only copper or newer type which is aluminum, go with aluminum, it doesn't corrode like copper does and displaces heat better too. good luck
