Cant you see since liberal talk radio isn't viable we will need to bring back the fairness doctrine ,
I have lived in San Francisco too long now I can even sound like a liberal .(yikes)
I tried to listen one day and found them to be offensive ,things like fake commericals for neo con skin cream to make every one black .
That's not funny its sick

The stations are still on the air. They just can't get the advertising they need to cover overhead. Soros had his fun but Franken and company couldn't get the listeners they promised.
If you've every heard them you'd know why. Franken comes across as a poor man's Dennis Miller, he tries to be smart but he is all spin no substance. Their pm drive time (in NY) host is pretty articulate but again, is all spin and misses the point too much. The rest are just smarmy self serving liberal apologists.

I heard it said that Rush Limbaugh was the most dangerous man in this country. I thought that was a joke. He made tapes and some people listened to them Demonize the Democrats.
Nothing in life is without competition but I have been here since Eisenhower. We voted and we discussed the topics and how you voted was your idea.
Then Republicans became Radical and to challenge their self righteous attitude was to be against God himself.
If you don't vote Republican you are going to hell. Leave the country, you don't deserve to live here. Your a traitor and deserve to die. Your a Islamic lover and a monster.
When did it become them or us.
Oprah an Icon of day time neutrality never told us how to vote, never voiced an opinion but had people from both party's on her program. When a man who wrote a book about the Bush administration was going to be on her show. She got death threats. The Dixie Chicks for one misstatement got death threats. When did what singers say matter?
When did we become so divided? so radical?
We have become a country on the verge of civil war.
I am not worried about the civil war in Iraq, but the one about ready to blow in the USA.
It all started with Rush Limbaugh, she was right, he is and was the most dangerous man in the USA. A confessed dope addict.
Why is he so revered?? He really isn't that knowledgeable.

The liberals approached radio the same way they approach everything else. They think government social programs will work if they just pump truckloads of money into them year after year. They believed the same thing with Air America and, just like their precious social programs, it failed.
They never learn.

thumbs up johnny. they actually needed soros to fund them, and even then it still went bankrupt. conservative radio gets funded by advertisers, the way any successful shows survives.

I certainly agree with you that the baseless, ranting and raving radio market is better left to conservatives.
