I lived in San Antonio in the early 60s. My niece lives there now. It has a stable in between moisture point. in case you're from El Paso, Arizona, New Mexico you will locate San Antonio humid. in case you're from Houston, deep East Texas, any of the southern states on the Gulf Coast, you will locate San Antonio has a somewhat dry climate. there is sufficient moisture for some greenery yet no longer the luxury greenery of the extra humid rain crammed factors. there is mostly a probability of flash floods there. because of the fact it rather is fairly a roving hilly section this would be a situation on the backside of the hills. honestly San Antonio has a stable southeast breeze. After dark in the summertime, that's going to nonetheless be in the 90s yet because of decrease humidities and that southeast breeze it rather is somewhat mushy. the comparable is genuine in case you're in the colour for the period of the summer season. yet once you reside out in that solar very long in the summertime it could dehydratee you notably quickly. I went to San Antonio for the time of hurricane Ike. sooner or later whilst the hurricane became out in the gulf that they had a damp day. Then the hurricane went yet another direction and it became very dry and friendly.

They are turned on the day after Thanksgiving.. The best place to be for this is in front of the Alamo. There's a Courthouse/Post Office across the street. You can sit on the steps and see them come on. Bring the kids.Oh, and get there early because parking for this is a nightmare if you get there after 6:00p.m.. Most of the parking in that area is average $5.00 - $7.00.

Yes, the day after Thanksgiving and they are breathtaking. It is the best time to be on the river walk because it is generally sweater weather. Lovely for a romantic stroll.

I'd say about 2 or 3 weeks before X-Mas. I went there a few years ago and it was beautiful!
