Does every girl have to have a job- NO. Advantages and disadvantages- depends on where she is at in her life at the time. Married women suffering mentally- there are many outlets to increase your mental stimulation regardless if you are a stay at home wife or not. They just have to reach out for them. Is it fair- I don't believe it is a question of fairness or not. We all choose our own paths and how we walk them.

It is not necessary that every girl should work. Still in this world a female is expected to take care of the entire family. She is the pillar of the house. Needs to be placed in the right place. If the family needs her financial support she can work. Otherwise it is better to be at home and be a good wife and a mother. But again it depends mainly on her husband's attitude. Also if any girl is having the required qualities to make it big in the corporate world she should not waste her talent. All depends on how well we can balance between the work and home.
Disadvantages are many..first of all the pressure of giving best both at home and inthe office....chances of getting harassed by the outside world...not getting time to concentrate on the health. many many disadvantages to list. But finally depends on the needs of the family..whether to work or not.

I would love it if I didn't have to work. There are so many other things that I could be doing right now. And when I have kids, there will be even more stuff to do. I think it's hard to take care of a family and a house and then also work 40 hours a week.

If it were financially possible, I would love to stay home and take care of things around the house like cleaning and kids and paperwork. But in this world (well this state - NY) it's so hard if you don't have 2 household incomes. It's all about preference. Some woman go crazy staying home... not me.

I think a woman should work if she wants to or if she really needs to. But, if you have a man that is working and taking care of you and says that you do not need to work...take advantage of that and do not work!

house work is called work because it is work. i'm a mom. i'm up before my husband every day, i got to bed after him and i tend the kids and clean the house from start to finish. in case ya'll are wondering where the kid is now, he's eating his brunch, there are clothes in the washer, and dryer and dishwasher. dinner is already simmering on the stove. i'm the cook, maid, seamstress, decorator, girl friday, secretary, laundress, event coordinator and taxi. oh and tutor, police and mistress. its a lot of work to not work. ]
it is not fair for someoen to tell you that you can not work if you want to. its not fair for anyone to look down on someone who does work and its not fair for someoen to look down on someone who does. but life isnt' fair.
