Except of course, its NOT in Battersea. Very close, but its Clapham and definitely not Battersea.
York Road is Battersea, Clapham High Street is Clapham. Not difficult, is it?

Battersea upward thrust and Northcote highway have various sturdy bars & eating places yet very few sturdy nightclubs. stay away from the nasty chain bars like each Bar One and Revolution and decide for between the acceptable independents like Peacock Bar or misplaced Society. Peacock Bar combines a bar, eating place and 80s club all into one with burlesque thrown in too. besides the undeniable fact that that's Saturdays are so wild that that's too plenty for some human beings - p.c.. a Friday if so. i think of misplaced Society has the sting on Peacock on food front yet no longer on cocktails or entertainment front the place Peacock Bar wins palms down. the two have 2am licences. golf equipment .... i'd stay away from The Grand Clapham Junction and Wessex domicile would be very chavvy and somewhat tough.

I'm not British, but I think "Battersea" sounds much better than Clapham!

Don't be stupid.
If you did, then you would have to rename Waterloo since that place is in Belgium! (The district in London is named after the station, not vice-versa and the station was so called in recognition of Wellington's victory.)

No, it can just stay part of the list of similar oddities. Leeds Castle, in Kent. Charing Cross Hospital, in Hammersmith. Chelsea FC, in Fulham etc etc
