So how do the Blue Jays' struggles relate to this question, given that they've had only a few Canadians (Boucher, Ducey, Butler, etc.) on their roster over the past 30 years?
Are you saying the Blue Jays suck, or that Canadian baseball sucks? I'm confused, but I guess that's because you're a moron who doesn't know how to properly ask a question.
As for the Jays, they've been in a state of mediocrity for a decade, but it's getting better. They've also got 2 Wold Series titles, which isn't bad for a younger team.
And Canadian baseball is also getting better. Justin Morneau is an MVP candidate, Jason Bay had a good year, and there are plenty of Canadian pitchers in MLB right now.
I think the better question here would have been, "Why is the asker of this question so ignorant?"

Because hockey is their national past time. And their Blue Jays don't suck. They are just in a transitional period. They will get better. Every team goes through it.

If you are talking about the Blue Jays I would have to say it is the economics of it. I mean you barely draw enough fans to make payroll. If you are talking about youth talent it is your location. Too much snow and ice for a baseball region. The top prospects every come from the southern states and countries where they can play all year long.

USA is the best at baseball and hockey. Losing is not anomaly. The USA cannot win all the time. I know how you feel when the USA lost. I saw these games. I was heartbroken. But I believe that one day they will win it again or the first time ( world baseball classic). The World Baseball Classic is new. They did not have many chances to participate. They will win it is just a matter of time.

It's not so much that they suck...but there is only one Canadian team, compared to 29 American teams. Odds are not good for them to win, especially considering the Yankees & Red Sox occupy the same division as the Blue Jays.

Probably because Hockey is a more popular sport there and the
cold weather makes it difficult to play much baseball.

because baseball is AMERICA'S favorite past time
also, canadians are not really into baseball and there's only one team, unlike in the united states where baseball is everywhere
