Contrary to what everyone's telling you, don't worry about what career field you want. So many people go through college without knowing what they'll do for their lives or others enter college with an idea in mind but it later changes a number of times before they graduate. Take your time in college, try to experience the different types of courses because that's the only way you'll find out if you like it. You may like bio now but after taking one or two college level bio classes you may turn to hate it. If you haven't enrolled in a school already, I suggest going to a two year community college and then switching to a four year after. This way, money's not TOO much of a strain and you can get those high school-esque General Ed classes out of your way. Oh, and if you major in something and find out much later that it's not for you, please don't be afraid of changing majors even if it's completely different. You'll only be saving yourself the headache later in life of hating your field but you stayed only because you had so many classes and such completed.

A convenient career? I don't think there are any "Convenient Careers" out there.
Listen to Amanda & Jupiter....when you graduate, go to college and over the next two years investigate the various avenues available to you. Then decide.
To be perfectly honest, I didn't know what I wanted to be until I was almost 40. Up to then, I worked in banking....had a good career but was unhappy with my level of fulfilment.
It's a tough decision but at your age, you have time on your side so take advantage of your youth. One thing I can tell you for sure is that you won't find any fulfilling work with only a High School diploma.
Good luck and follow your dreams.

Many people start school and don't know what they want to be. (trust me- ask any counselor how many people change majors before they decide on what they want to study). I would suggest you start by taking general classes (which you will need anyhow no matter what you study). take your English composition and math classes. If you want take an elective in things that interest you. I think I have the perfect job for you!!! Registered Nurse! You go to school for about 1 year and get a Associate of Science. They get good pay and you can work in maternity so you will be surrounded by babies!! Also, you can get tuition reimbursement if you decide to further your studies and become the pediatrician. Good luck!

You need to think about the big three: Law, Medicine, and Business. Of those three, you can get started the quickest in business. If you enjoy people and like to listen, a career in sales can earn you a significant income. For example, if you like investing, you can become a stock broker... some easily earn six figures once they are established in the business. Of course, you can always take the entrepreneur path... decide what you love and build a business around it. I was recently in Napa Valley and the balloonists there earn quite a bit to take tourists on a hot air balloon ride... again, they love to balloon, and built a business on their passion. You can do the same. Good luck!

you can be undecided your first two years of college .. right now focus on the college that is right for you that will help you grow and make these decisions for yourself... just keep in mind you always want to do something you love but be realistic... you don't want to struggle your entire life trying to make it! You can never go wrong with a business degree though.
