Of course he's the best crosser of the ball. England do have Gerrard, but he can't play wide right. Beckham was England's only option on the right, and anytime they had a corner or free kick. It's sad that they don't have a replacement, so bring back Becks. Lennon is seen as his long-term replacement. Sure, he has the pace to get past defenders, but for accuracy, he doesn't measure up.

People can slag Beckham off,but there aint many players in the currant squad who can cross or even pinpoint a 40 yard pass straight to a player,or score from a free kick other than Beckham

Frihah 18, what can I say...Beckham's crosses are flawless. In fact his free kicks are killer 'crosses in disguise' to the back of the net. You can tell his unique style by the way his body stands and swings as he takes a kick.
I read his book in which he states that he used to practise them all day long when he was a kid.
(That's like playing piano or gymnastics, if you start very young and do it all day, you become a "master" when you reach his age still doing it daily)

I would agree with you. The problem is that's the only thing he brings to the table any more. Watching him play this summer its almost as if the guy has lost all interest or he has aged 10 years in last 3 years. Sorry I like the guy but lets face it he isn't the player he used to be. He is now completely one dimensional.

London lady......firstly....learn to talk english....not that ghetto crap that you think makes you sound"street". You are not Aisleen from big brother.
Then profer a decent....understandable opinion.
Go for it....!
Beckham is still the best man to get the ball in the box.....unfortunately Sven's teams were all based on him....that's why we failed. KEEP THE FAITH THOUGH.

since he was dropped we haven't looked like scoring from a free kick, there is no-one in the team who can cross the ball as good as him and since Terry has been captain he had doggy games
