On the back of your Cassette player you should have two phono type connectors labelled "Line Out" (left & right). On your sound card in your computer you should have one mini-jack connecter labelled "Line In". If you go to your local computer shop or electronics shop (could be PC world or Maplins, Maplins will probably be cheaper) and ask for a lead to connect between the two ie. a stereo phono to min-jack lead. You can then use the lead to connect your tape deck to your pc. Then use a music editor program to record on to the computer and whatever program came with your CD burner to burn to CD. An excellent and FREE music editor program is "Audacity" which you get from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ . Have fun!

Check out www.adstech.com

You can buy one from PC World for about 40 quid and you can put all your tapes and vinyl onto the pc and convert them to MP3's
You also get Nero 6 on the installation cd for burning you new cd's.
