Contact other ghost hunters and ask how they got started.

I hate to say it..but I don't think you can really get a "job" being a paranormal investigator. I'm a member of a local ghost hunting group myself and I attend many conferences. It seems to me that the only people that are able to make a living doing these kinds of things are those that write books and get their name out. It's only then that they are paid to go to the conferences and speak and things like that. Most ghost hunting groups don't charge people for their services and I think that's the way to go. People shouldn't be charged. After all, we are all trying to learn in this field. Nothing can be proven. My advice to you is to get involved with a local ghost hunting group. Maybe you can get your paranormal fix that way. I really don't think there's a good way to make money doing it. Just look at the guys from TAPS....they has other jobs for 11 plus years while they were ghost hunting. (That is until they got so big from the TV show) Most of the people you know and read about in the field have normal jobs too. Email me if you have any questions. I'm a field reporter for a paranormal radio show and I can get you in contact with someone from your state to help you get involved with the groups in your area. Happy Halloween!

Honey? If you have the gift and are not bs-ing, coupled with a bit of beauty, a soft, lovely litling voice and truth? You may have to prove yourself to those folks that produce all those shows like a paranormal investigator. You will have to prove what you can do first though. Investigating with all the equipment is one thing, but being able to see and hear what most folks refuse to believe they are capable of doing is the other that will secure you in a great job for the rest of your life, with book offers, movies, etc. Proof. Proof. Proof. Do you, yourself have paranormal abilities? I do have a contact from the other side and I know who killed Jon Benet Ramsey. Folks look at me as if I am crazy, but it is true. I know. Can you tell me? It is too late now to act as if I would be hurting anyone with the truth, so tell me. Who killled her? Have you ever heard of Dixie Yterien? Look her up. I think you want to do what she does. Seriously. Folks look at people who are interested in the paranormal as weird, when it is in all of us. Our society has been taught that it is evil and wrong, when it is not. You take your talents as far as they will go and you will live a comfortable, if not a bit tortured life. I love the paranormal so, I'm with you on this. You need to prove to others that you have this gift, otherwise, you will end up working all the sophisticated machinery which will make you money, but not money, fame and the trust of thousands of people who depend on people like Sylvia Browne or Dixie Yterien. Know what I mean? Good luck..

No, I really don't like misinforming and deceiving people. Ghostly apparitions are caused by the effect of magnetic fields on brain activity.
