a sanction is basically a punishment. If they implement trade sanctions they will be limits on who, where and how much north Korea can trade with nation sin the UN.

sanctions are when countries hold their goods and disallow travel of their citizens to that country kind of like an embargo this does nto apply to aid for citizens of the sanctioned country
