Invite my mate to stay. Disconnect the phones. Batten down the hatches. Refuse to answer the door to any uninvited visitors, and just chill out completely.
I'll get some booze in for her; she likes the stuff. And fizz and milk for myself, because I'm a lightweight in that department. Plenty of munchies. A few DVD's maybe. And get food delivered instead of doing any cooking in the evenings.
If I did go out it would have to be in one of the cars because she won't ride pillion. Especially at speed. But it would be to somewhere quiet. The beaches are nice this time of year. Sandringham is a good place for walking. And I know some great little eateries/guest houses scattered all across the north Norfolk coast.
Perfect for a dirty weekend :oP
And maybe a ride over to Sheringham to do some present shopping for the tribe.
Nothing at all exciting. But absolutely relaxing.

I'd be working on the renovations I am doing myself to my own home -- the wood (staining), the walls (removing the last traces of wallpaper), and the floors (taking out that horrid wall-to-wall and laying tile in its place)
