I always appreciate an attempt to be witty or make somebody laugh, even if it falls flat. Some questions and answers are just plain funny!

Some people take themselves too seriously.
Some people do not possess the ability to render a quick jab, thus they are frustrated at their own shortcomings.
Some people lost their own sense of humor, and lost themselves somewhere down the road of maturity.

I think people with a great sense of humor is wonderful! Why walk around and have a sad face all day?? I love to laugh and be witty, even tho I'm 40 yrs old. I'm not dead yet, so why not live and let live?!? I think its great to laugh......you know they say laughter is like a medicine....does everybody good!! The longer your a kid at heart, you will stay young for a longgg time!! Keep up the laughter and be witty!! :o)

Yep. We Christians need to lighten up. Too much seriousness sounds like arrogance and insecurity. So do long answers. Unfortunately. I could talk all day on this subject...
