Why did the democrats reject Lieberman and accept a liberal like Lamont? Are they going to throw away all the moderates? I'm a democrat but I didn't like how many democratic leaders turn their back on him, does anybody else agree with this?

Uh we ousted lieberman here, because he wasnt voting, how we the people wanted him to vote, he was voting in the manner that was best for himself. He backstabbed the people of CT when he forgot who elected him to office. Of course the Democratic leaders turned their back on him, he lost the primary. This man actually said, I will not let these election results stand, Im going to run as an independent the people want me. If we wanted him we would have voted for him.
I think its pathetic that he wont just give up. It really proves that he cares more about staying in office than serving the people.

Lieberman is a shill for the republican party, plain and simple. Awhile back Bush was at some fund raiser and the man had the gall to make a short video tape about looking for the WMD's in the Oval office They showed Lieberman laughing at it, and that did it for me. If you think I'm making it up, then go look for it on google or You Tube.

Bush pulls stunts like this, and were suppose to think he cares about the fate of soldiers?

The looney lefties just don't want to hear a moderate voice, no matter whom it's coming from. Joe Lieberman is a good man. I didn't always agree with him but I think he was one of the best I saw come out of the Democrankie Party. I wonder what's going to happen with other moderate Dems like Bill Richardson.

He was voted out in his own primary. That's called democracy. If the voters wanted him to be the democratic candidate, he would be. Now he is the Republican candidate (uh, I mean independant). Imagine if John McCain rejected the presidential primary of 2000 and ran on his own, knowing he would split the vote. Bush would have lost by an even wider margin! Loyalty is also knowing when to sit.

Because Lamont won the primary of his party. If democrats turned their backs on Lamont you would be accusing them of being disloyal to their party.

I disagreed with many issues of liberman, such as abortion, etc... But the man has integrity. I think it is going to be funny when he wins the election as an independent.
