Fabric-based wall covering, yes. Straight wallpaper--more effort than it's worth--get new instead of driving yourself nuts.

Yes, if your careful enough to be able to get it off without tearing it, if it's stuck pretty good try steaming it a little bit, it will soften the old glue long enough for you to get it off, then you may have to reapply some paste, very lightly, to put it back up. I've done it myself because the border I had up you could no longer find, they quit making it and don't think your cheap by reusing it, if it's what you like reuse it and keep the cost of new border in your pocket. There's nothing wrong with recycling things, even border paper. Good Luck and hope it turns out well for you. Bill

an undemanding and (very practically unfastened) answer is to fill a twig bottle with 3 factors water and a million section fabric softener (like Downy). Spray over a three foot sq. section, enable take a seat, then peel away the paper. For extra obdurate papers, you're able to be able to could desire to apply a putty knife and slightly of elbow grease.

You have to remove it very carefully. You'll have to use wallpaper paste to reapply it.
