It is a high pitched shrill. Our brains are made to react to this as a warning or help?
It is similar to a baby's cry, a cry for help, a squeel of the tires on a car. Those things that need to get your imediate attention. Does nails on a chalkboard need our imediate attention, No, but tell our brains that. It is panic anyway.
