The designs that work best in my city are the ones done with a sort of rustic look, like bricks yellowy light ans discreet neon light. Usually they have like a small bakery/coffee in the entrance with seats and then you find the computers and while seating on the computers you can ask for cupcakes and coffee, stuff like that... On the brick walls they usually have Cd's and DVD sales and aged posters that go with the "theme" of the cafe.. Hope it gives you some idea of what you can do..
