My girlfriend broke up with me...we've been dating for about 2 1/2 years...on and off...and back around our 9th month we were doing horrible, i thought we were going to break up...and i started talking to other girls online, and said some thing to them (dirty) that i shouldent have...well she found them a couple months later and i lied, saying that someone must have messed with my computer...i admitted about what i did on monday and she broke up with me, we had also been fighting and argueing alot, but mainly because i was afraid of losing her and was focusing on the bad things...i really want her back...but she says she doesent love me anymore and she just wants her space...i dont know what to do...someone please help me...

I am really sorry about what i did too...it was a long time ago...this is a year and 5 months later...i truely do love her...and i want her back...i realized i f*cked up in the past...i do....

We all do things we regret, especially when we get scared and think were going to lose the person we love..If you want her back, you need to be honest with her. Tell her you messed up and that you'll spend the rest of your life making it up to her. I can't say she will def take you back but at least you will know you tried then you can move on. Good luck hun

Well, you lied and betrayed her. That's a bell that's impossible to "unring". Learn from this escapade and resolve to be a better person in your relationships. If you cared for her so much, then why did you "cheat" on her by talking dirty to other girls online? Your ex-girlfriend sounds like she has a very good head on her shoulder and decided that you are not a person of character. She probably also adheres to this piece of wisdom: "People are what they do, not what they say", or "actions speak louder than words". Learn from this and move on...

Why do guys have to be so insensitive to begin with and then when girls react to that, they act all hurt and innocent- like they don't deserve it? you had your chance and lost it- whether you get her back or not- try to be more honest and sincere in the future- and be SORRY for what you did
