I'd say October or November. Most animals breed in the winter, and have babies in the spring. It is a treat to see the new baby animals.

winter is good 'cos there's less bush-cover - the animals know this too, so hide a bit.
spring is better, when the young are about.

this time of year, or a bit earlier.

Anytime except for summer...coz then it's too hot!! But if you wanna swim, don't go in winter!!
