I live about two minutes away from work, it is so hard for me to wake up and wanting to look nice. There was this cute guy that worked in my building, so I work up early did my make up and presented myself very very well. Then he was sent to Iraq (he is a LT) and now I don't bother to even look nice for work!! EKK

Worst part is my boyfriend gets ready slow toooooo its like he's sleep walking, so then I have to wait on him and while I'm waiting I find more things to do in the morning like eat!!

First, try to go to bed earlier the night before to give yourself plenty of time to rest. Also, try to pick your clothes out the night before for the next day, as well as get your bag and other belongings in a place by your door so you can just pick them up. Set two alarm clocks to ensure that you'll get up. Make sure that one is across the room so you actually have to get up to turn it off. Get up when your alarm goes off, no matter how tired you are and get in the shower. I suggest Clean & Clear Face scrub because it smells citrusy so it makes your body wake up. After your shower, get dressed and then go in the kitchen, prepare your breakfast and try to make sure it has protein in it. If you like hard boiled eggs, make one the night before and put it in the fridge and eat it the next morning. Just try to smile and it really does work wonders on making you feel better. Try to make your outfits look very presentable (meaning iron if you can, but do it the night before!) because it will make you feel better throughout the day. Try to cut down on your caffiene consumption throughout the day as well because it will just make you more tired. Try to stick to one cup of coffee or one soda each day and drink water the rest of the time. I also recommend Halls Vitamin C drops because one drop gives you all the Vitamin C that you need in one day and they actually taste good!! Good luck!

Go to bed earlier.

Keep doing it, eventually you will fall asleep in under 5 minutes and get up easily and well rested.

You just have to retrain your body.

P.S. You can't stay up late all weekend and go back to good habits on Monday. Unfortunately, you have to go to sleep at a reasonable hour every night.

That's why you don't see old people out at 1:00 a.m. - we just can't do it anymore without feeling like crap the next day.

P.P.S. Haven't used an alarm clock in 15 years.

In addition to the suggestions given already, get an alarm clock with nature sounds (mine has ocean, brook and birds) it's a lot more peaceful to wake up to that than the screech of a traditional alarm

No caffeine and no food 2-3 hours prior to sleeping. Learn how much rest your body needs naturally. How much do you sleep on the weekends, when you wake up naturally? Thats the exact time your body needs to rest. Make sure you go to sleep leaving enough time for your body to get all the rest IT needs.
