On the back of my house I have a few spots that need to be painted...my husband scrape the paint and now we want to repaint the siding..someone know what kind of paint we should used, only on the back of the house the rest is pretty good...we bought a satin finish 100% acylic latex....but someone at his work said that he needs to add something to the paint, for the paint to stick into the sidding....please help.....is not the much of painting...but we want it to look nice

Don't know about paint additives.
Try this.
Remove all loose paint & use a strong solution of Mex .
(There are commercial pre paint cleaners )
Hose It down well afterward & apply paint.
Have painted over vinyl clad aluminum siding after a good cleaning .
Used Benjamin Moore Moorglow . held up very well.

You need to wash the area to be painted with vinegar before you paint. as vinegar is very acidic, it will etch the metal to give the paint something to grab.

just go to your local sherwin williams store and tell them that you need a primer for aluminum and they will be glad to help.
