I suppose it's both, but sadly that's just the way it is.

Most people are herd animals. Their values aren't the result of their own deep philosophical insights; rather, they got them prefabricated from the most recent popular TV series in which trained actors showed them the right way to think about (and react to) everything during the course of several dozen episodes. Monkey see. Monkey do.
Jewish television is a weapon, and that weapon is aimed at the White race. Its influence works both day and night to disable White racial cohesiveness and to induce racial hatred for Whites by non-Whites. But it's a subtle, underhanded, backdoor influence that works mostly with insinuations, vague allusions, skewed allegories, bad context, misleading symbolism, and buzzwords.
By such deceptive methods, the Jews have created a fasionable social dogma, a "political correctness," to which non-Whites generally, as well as the herd animals among the Whites, adhere by default. The racial double standard that you noticed is a relatively minor result of this Jewish propaganda.

Who cares? The biggest problem any race has is identifying themselves as a "race" I'm a human being and if some idiot can see that i'm a nerd, or good at math or built for farming then they have the problem, not me. Who really gives a **** what some retard thinks of your race?

This goes to show...that the pc patrol has taken ignorance and renamed it racism.
Just because some one stereotypes someone does not imply racism....look at the recent history during the 40', 50 and 60s.........now that was rasicim.

I think it's both racist and a double standard. Plenty of Asians are nerds and there are plenty that aren't. Same goes with Caucasians. I happen to be a mixture of both and am a nerd. (And proud of it, thank you very much!)

It's totally racist, to both Asians and Caucasians. Some people just don't get it, the best thing you can do on Y!Answers is ignore their posts, and the best thing you can do if you know them personally is to scoop out their eye with a spoon and rape the socket.

The person was putting down both races by asking which was worse. Isn't it amazing how many haters these boards attract?

this is because people feel the need to seem entirely without bias. for example, a person may treat a black person specially because they feel guilty for not liking black people. they know it's wrong, but they cannot help themselves.

If by "nerdy", you are talking about looks, then it isn't necessarily racism, just visual preference.

'Nerds' come in all colors, races, creeds, sizes, shaped and whatever else. Silly way of thinking , really, it is. People r people, just let them be to live their lives.
