Got Sky TV?
Checkout SkyTalk, they also have 'free broadband'.
Check the terms and conditions carefully and the length of the contract.
Got an Orange mobile phone?
Orange have just started offering broadband in their packages too.
My advice, shop around before you sign up to a 12-18 month contract.
TalkTalk seem to have problems coping with customer demand at the moment and has had an adverse effect on cutomer service. Their offer was on Radio1 news a few days ago at the number of customers that had received very poor service or no service at all.
The only advantages of these "all in one / free broadband" packages is the monthly cost of broadband.
You need to ask yourself is the £20-£30 a month broadband fee that you are currently paying is worthwhile.
When you pay separately for broadband you tend to get better customer service, technical support and a faster network for those of us who download large amounts of data.
If you are a 'light' user who sends the odd email and an hour or two of browsing a day, then I would say go for a free package.
Oh, and the last thing to check is how much usage a 'free' service will allow you to use. Known as 'caps' some services only allow you 1gb usage.

I would say go for BT Broadband with the hub rather than talk talk. Heard a lot of bad things about talk talk service from my friends so when I wanted broadband I went with BT. Only been on bt broadband hub for about a month now but it is fast and reliable. You tend to get a little static on the phone but if you have a spare phone you can plug that into the phoneline instead of in the back of the hub and all incoming calls can be answered on that. Just remember not to use that one to phone out on or your free calls don't work, you have to phone out on the one plugged into the back of the hub. Incidentally, anyone looking to get the hub be prepared for a long wait for the phone as it is in short supply. I've been waiting for a month and after ringing them today to enquire when i'm liable to get it have been advised that it could be another 4 to 6 weeks wait.

I have had problems from the start and am now wishing i didn't change over. First i didn't get the start-up cd and modem for ages although they were still billing me for the service, then i had problems connecting to the service, when trying to contact technical support the calls are charged at £2.00 + 10p per minute and they don't even help you. Since i managed to connect i have been put offline 3 times with no explanation. I would avoid them at all costs, since i have entered into a contract i have no choice but i have decided that if i get anymore problems then i will be contacting ofcom and getting out of the contract. Good luck with whoever you choose.

It's the one I've got. My previous communications company I was with were charging me 20 a month just for calls. Now I've got the internet! I did experience some problems and had to pay for the technical services helpline 10p a minute. Everything is ok at the moment. Oh my god, touch wood. It's Friday the 13th!

They have been having problems with the amount of people taking up the offer, that they cant keep up with demand, which is resulting in a lot of disgruntled customers cancelling their contract.

Mine's ok, although didn't get the setup CD. However they send you a letter with your username and password so you can set up the dialing to the BB manually.
