is this a problem it sounds like it could be there not all be run under the same name 4 are SYSTEM 1 LOCAL SERVICE and 2 NETWORK SERVICE

type tasklist /svc, and press ENTER at your command prompt. You'll see a list of the services associated with each svchost.exe running.

Svchost.exe is a generic process name for services that run from dynamic-link libraries (DLLs). Multiple svchost.exe processes can run at the same time. Each svchost.exe session can contain multiple services. Different svchost.exe programs are required because some services require different information to be passed to them when they start.

(start menu> run> CMD to get to a command prompt)

This is quite normal. This is the windows service handler daemon so if you want the details of what services are active you should go to:
- Start->Control Panel->(Classic View)->Administrative Tools->Services
