It's hard to think of anything other than bread which can be both crusty and "good"...I was going to say Lava - it means it's not running down a volcano towards your village if it's gone crusty...but I don't think that's viable as being particularly "good"...it's probably still pretty "bad"!

no - crusty bread is pretty good
though crusty eyes could be a sign of pink eye (conjunctivitis) and that's bad...
