how can i make a succesful eggdrop using only 9 sheets of paper?

Put one cup of water in a pan. Use the paper to light a gas stove. Place the pan over the flame and stir the water. Crack the egg into the water. You now have egg-drop soup. Congratulations!

Crumple 8 sheets of paper. Put in the bottom of a small box. Put the 9th sheet of paper over the crumpled sheets. Drop the egg from 1/2 a meter. Should come through fine.
