That's why you need to check your local donation center and verify that it is being run by the Red Cross. They have been cleared of all dealings with vampires....
The competing blood drive agency, Blood R Us, is currently being investigated after numerous complaints from donors who preferred needle over teeth as a blood extraction method...
So steer clear of Blood R Us until the investigation has been completed....

It certainly is true - in a twisted way. At blood donation places there's sometimes someone who not only wants you to donate blood, but money as well.

Yes but they wear lab coats, use needles and donate the blood to people who need it so don't be afraid. But it was funny :)

I'm still afraid of them. I sleep with the blanket over my neck (as if it was going to help, i know!). Even in the hot summer, I need something covering my neck.

No they hang around the blood banks where blood is stored. They work there actually, its much easier for them. Donate and don't be such a wuss

I'm a phlebotomist and I still don't wear garlic. You're pretty safe as long as you don't sit next to the guy with fangs.

no its not remember vampires only come out during night(well there has to be no sun) anyways if iit was true dont you think they would want it fresh from someones body

That's a good thought, but they're everywhere and sometimes you just can't tell until you're bitten. Best to just keep your collar up.
