Torsion is the only surgical emergency here it has to be checked. This occurs when a testicle twists around inside your scrotum. When a testicle twists, the blood vessels contained within the spermatic cord also twist.
Other things are trauma, infection or a hernia.
It is unlikely tumour.
You have to go to the doctor.

Please please follow the advice from all those who are telling you to see your doctor. It's possible that it could be a torsion, but I think the pain would be a lot more severe than a dull ache, so hopefully it's not that. The pain you describe sounds more like epididymo-orchitis, this is an inflammation/infection of the sperm duct. It can happen for any reason at any time, and is not sexually transmitted.
If you haven't seen your GP yet, go to A&E right now. Don't be embarrassed, or feel that you're wasting anyone's time - you need to get whatever this is checked out ASAP because if it's either of the above conditions, your fertility will be affected if you leave it untreated, and you could lose a testicle. Good luck :)

Please go to your GP.
It could be simple...
But it sounds like you have a torsion of your testicle...if this is allowed to continue you will eventually lose it.
A torsion is where the testicle inside the scrotal sac twists slightly if it does not untwist the blood vessels caught up in this knot will not allow blood into the testicle and cause it to die.
Either way if it is and you fail to get it treated now....you will be screaming soon and straight into Hospital.
It is not uncommon in someone of your age.
If you are too shy to talk about your problem write it down on a piece of paper and simply hand it to the GP....no one will laugh at you..your testicles are very important to you..and a GP will take this pain seriously.
You have to look after your health and deal with this issue.

Well first of all if you have any worrys see the doctor, theres nothing to be shy about your health is far more important.
Try having a w ank, seriously, some times perssure can build up, ita a medical fact. If the condition persists see your doctor.
BTW I actually prefer seeing a female doc for things like this, much better to have a woman touching your privates than a man in my opinion.

Never be afraid to go to your doctor with something like this. His your doctor male? if not ask to see one.
I had to go with a similar problem and i felt the same way you did, but i went and it really was no problem what so ever, i felt so much better for going.
Go for it, you will be glad you did.

Darling, you really must go and see your gp. Believe me, they have seen much worse than your tackle before. It is probably nothing but to put your mind at rest you MUST have it checked out. Think of all the women who have to endure cervical smears...your check up is nothing compared to that. Best of luck anyway
