I am from Detroit, and i can't stand it when people get all hyped up about the playoffs! It's the people on the news and on the radio that hype it up the most, but then there are the people at work who say "I am going to the Tigers game tomorrow"-- and my guess is they can't even name 3 of the starting roster. It just irritates the hell out of me.

Does anyone agree?

Yes I do, I've been a Cardinal fan all my life, ST. Louis is full of them. A real FAN cant get a ticket to a game here because of all these so-called FANS. All you hear on the talk radio is bashing. Us real fans know what its like to be in lean years, the 70s were lean in ol ST LOU. These Fair- Weather Fans are spoiled with all the sucess the Cardinals are having the past few years. But instead of enjoying it they want change. I say dont fix it if it ain't BROKE.

It just the ebb and flow of sports, the same holds true everywhere. Here in Nebraska, we were feeling pretty good about ourselves after beating Michigan in the Alamo Bowl last year, and had plenty of extra fans to show for it before the USC game this year. Funny what loosing by 18 points does to the fan base. At least I'll get a great seat at the Arena sports bar in Omaha this Saturday while I watch my Huskers play in a friggin pay-per-view game against KSU!

Cheers to real fans of any team!

I'm with you...where have all the Yankee fans gone? No one heard a peep out of them in the 80's and early 90's when they were absolutely horrible...now they're hiding again and probably mets fans now
