Well, it seems that GW won, even with the investigations into the election of 2000 and the democrats attempt at stealing the election in Florida. What about 2004? Was that a landslide or what. Nevertheless, it was a WIN. Ole Chavez probably INFLUENCED THAT ELECTION IN VENEZUELA. An election that happened 6 years ago that upsets a group so much should be in Ripley's Believe It Or Not. You commislamic fascists need to get a life and concede. You Lost!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha1

We never said that Venezuelans were smart - they voted in a thug Marxist punk idiot.
His "successful" fight against recall was marked by very questionable vote counts. But because Chavez is a Marxist thug, Carter certified the vote.
Oh, and Bush was elected by the people. Landslide or not, he was legally and officially elected twice.
Not sure why you think this is a big deal. Just don't hold your breath waiting for the next presidential election in Venezuela - Chavez will be the Presidente for life.

If Chavez didn't tend to rant, he would be taken much more seriously. The way he has handled the country's oil reserves and the multi-national cos. is a big story world wide -- except in the U.S..
Interestingly, the leader of Pakistan, an ally of ours currently, overthrew the democratically elected government.

Did you know when he took power the first thing he did was eliminate the "corrupt" parties and jailed their leaders and other generals that posed a threat?
Did you know he established his competition party and picked the candidate?
Did you know Carter received a "grant" for his humanitarian charities for certifying the Venezuelan elections?
Venezuela's election was no different from China's one party elections except the UN was asked to "verify" the results.

The Busies are viery flexible, to put it mildly, in their approach to their stated goal of spreading Democracy. Our best ally in the Islamic World, Pervez Musharraf, siezed power in a coup. Egypt falls short of a proper Democracy, but we won't hector them. And free elections in Palestine and Iraq have led to strengthening Islamic radicals.

It certainly was a landslide. As a matter of fact there are citizens that swear they didn't for vote him, but who's history says they did. Odd how so many people were out in the streets just the other day for his opponent, I have $10 that says he STILL wins by a "landslide".
