Yeah I'm not superstitious but I knock on wood because it's more a cultural thing to do rather than a superstitious one.

I knock on wood. But, I refuse to believe in any superstition about wearing the same clothes continually to not "wash" off the good luck.
I grew up with a Japanese mother, so, we lived with some weird superstitions. For instance, my mom believed that sleeping with cats caused lupus and certain long term illnesses (her youngest sister has it) and later we found out that my grandmother (mom's MIL) also believed that. My sister and I laughed at that one!
