Well, when God create man, he thought (originally) that the man would have the babies; then Adam started complaining that giving birth would hurt; so God create Woman. Well, since Adam already had nipples; God thought, "Well, I'm not changing him now, I have other things to do". So he left the nipples on man and when on his way.

-Nipples are the result of an efficient plan of embryonic development. Human embryos contain characteristics of both sexes at first, because they all have basically the same genetic information. It is design economy. For example, in all human embryos, at first both the mullerian duct system (female) and the wolffian duct system (male) develop, because both sexes have the genetic information for these structures. Incidentally, this refutes the urban myth that human embryos "start out female."

though there is no requirement for any physicalwork but it can be used to arouse the sexual feelings and is very much used by women to arouse the men by rubbing, pressing with fingers and hard pressing with her nails and teeth. If the woman does so while man is stroking her then he ejaculate early and doing so while stroking a woman and ejaculation gives better orgasm and relaxed feeling than otherwise. Also if it is pierced with any ornament then also it becomes great pleasure for men if she plays with it as a foreplay and/or during intercourse.

actually men are just same as women...both have nipples...it's just women have the hormone that stimulate enlargement of breast(or better say growth of breast)...
if you want to know where do nipples originate...study embryology...complicated process...
funtion of nipple in men...not known...
