It has nothing to do with color, try a wrap shirt dress with a pair of dark wash jeans and a pair of sexy heels, they don't have to be stilettos, a thicker heel will make your legs look longer and leaner, it always works for me!!!!!

fat ladies look better in dark colors . infact the full attire in one single dark color can actually make fat ladies look little less than their actual weight. colours like black dark brown maroon dark green etc suit fat ladies well. also fabric which have fall work better ! so all the curvy ladies flaunt ur physique with light fabrics and dark colors!!!! gud luck!
PS this is based on personal experience!!

You might want to watch a show called, "What Not To Wear".
They seem to have some good answers to clothing mistakes. They just had a plus sized woman on there the other night and most of her wardrobe was black. They told her to throw it out and start over and showed her how. They put alot of color into her wardrobe and she looked so much better.

Navy is good, or a dark burgundy, semi-sweet chocolate, or hunter green. Dark, rich, jewel-like colors go best. In the hottest part of the summer, light-weight pastels are OK, but mostly, good rich dark colors. Remember that black is a power color, rich in symbolism. If that's what you're looking for, by all means wear black. Otherwise, navy will serve the same serious-looking purpose, but not seem so threatening.

most people think black and dark colors, but that would just make you fat and gothic-looking. Just wear whatever you feel like ewearing, dark wash jeans with alittle bleacheing down the middle make your legs leaner. Large flairs and the bottom of pants ballance out large thighs. its all about balance, really. You should buy the November 2006 Seventeen magazine, it has a lot about different body shapes and wat they look best in
i would suggest staying away from bright yellow, orange, or baby blues and pinks. and DO NOT wear bright white.

the same color that suits thin ladies - just because a person is considered fat does not mean they can only wear one color
