Before you think you have been lied to just remember this is an election year and for the next couple of years before we elect a new leader for our country you will be hearing all kinds of things. Also remember that you can never believe everything you hear or see in the media. So NO you have not been lied to by your Republican leaders you have been lied to by the media and stories surface at the most opportunistic time for an opponent to take complete advantage of it.

Sonny, you've been lied to by every Congressman that's ever spoken. You've been lied to by every Democrat president or member of a Democrat administration.
I don't think you've been lied to by Bush, however. Yeah, I disagree with some of the things he does and says, but I have never found him to have lied. And despite the Democrats and their media mouthpieces' efforts over the past nearly 6 years, they still have not managed to prove that he's lied at all, not once.
