Rabbits poop where ever they are. Nice little round pellets. They are usually easy to clean up as long as they don't get stepped on. Most people keep rabbits in a rabbit hutch with a wire mesh floor so that the dropping fall through and can be cleaned up. Rabbits and cats don't usually mix well.

1. Depend on the cat and rabbit. Animals have somewhat unique personalities just like people do. Two people will get along and two other people won't.

2. You can, but normally you want to do it on a supervised basis, especially at first. Also, you need to rabbit proof the apartment by using tobasco sauce, hot sauce, or bitter apple on any electrical wires or wooden chair legs to keep the rabbit from biting them.

3. Rabbits can be house trained similar to a cat. Find what corner they like to pee and poop in then place a litter box there. Spray the rabbit with water if they pee or poop where they aren't supposed to. The American Rabbit Breeders Association puts out a pamphlet on house training rabbits.

I have had a total of 14 rabbits and every single one of them has been house trained. If you get the rabbits from a very small age, you just have to train them.
Let them run around your house( after you have covered up wires and anything dangerous which they can get stuck in behind e.g Fireplaces/woodstoves-speaking from personal experience) If they happen to have any *accidents* pick up the poos and place them onto a mat/litter tray which you are able to keep in that place permanently. Soak up the pee with a paper towel and place it on the mat as well. The rabbit will smell the area and eventually run to the mat to go to the washroom. Depending on the rabbit this may take awhile to learn. You must be persistent and make sure never to scold the rabbit / hit it on the nose/spank it. This may cause negative behaviour. Simillarily with cages, leave the cage open while the rabbit runs around and after awhile it will re-enter its cage when it has to go.
hope this helps, goodluck.

1. It depends on the cat and the rabbit. Introduce each while they are both in carriers or cages. Cats are predators and rabbits are prey. Never leave them alone together.
2. Yes rabbits can roam your apartment, however you have to do serious bunny proofing. Cover all wires with cables, spray baseboards and furniture with bitter apple or fooey.
3. Rabbits are housetrainable. I personally don't have free range rabbits. Tho some ppl do. They should always have their own space to retreat to. They can be litter box trained too.

Go to these websites for more on rabbits.

1 - Yes, cats and rabbits can get along. You want to watch to be sure that they do as cats are predators and rabbits are prey animals so problems can occur.
Here is a link that has great information on bunnies with other animals:

2 - Yes, you can let a rabbit roam around your apartment once you have rabbit proofed the space. Rabbits love to chew and that includes wires and wood....some interior decorating is needed. I personally don't let ours roam when we're not at home. They are confined to a small room (about 7' x 10') with their litter box, toys, hiding box, food and water bowls.
Here is a link with tips for rabbit proofing your home:

3 - Actually rabbits can be litter box trained. It is much easier once they are spayed or neutered. Here is a link with pointers on how to litter box train:

And if you go to the home page for all these links you'll get great information on bunnies.

My rabbit thinks it is a cat from being around my cat so yes they can get along depending on your cat's personality. You have to litter train them like a cat if you want them to roam around and don't forget they will chew on anything especially power cables.

1. it depends on the personality of the 2 animals.
2. my rabbit is out of the cage from the time I get home from work until i go to bed...so about 6 or 7 hours.
3. rabbits tend to mark their territory. i buy rabbits when they are babies and i potty train them. i take them out in small amounts of time so he realizes to use the "bathroom" in the cage. if my rabbit needs to go to the "bathroom" he goes back into his cage or he uses it on the newspaper on the side of his cage. Rabbits can be trained to use a litter box.

My rabbit is always trying to mate with the cats and I'm sure the cats would do something horrible if I left them alone together.

Rabbits chew. Furniture, wires...I guess if you're kinda dirty and don't care about your furniture or pee stains, or stepping on rabbit pellets, sure, let the rabbit roam all over. Bet your landlord charges you for damages when you leave.

Nope, but they can be. Eventually. Be aware that rabbit-pee stains like crazy and they pee in HUGE amounts.
