It is solid carbon dioxide. You can use it to re-carbonate flat soda by taking a small chunk of it and putting it into the bottle and sealing it. If you transport it, make sure that you have your windows rolled down. You can die from breathing pure CO². Be very careful handling it. You can get severe frostbite from touching it.
