Some have white mold that begins at the base of the leaf and then darkens the leaf and causes it to fall off. Some have black bumps on the leaves.
Please help. I've had these Jades for 20 years.

DO NOT spray with vinegar. It is an herbicide and will kill them. Put fresh coffee grounds on the soil and water them with beer. No kidding. Took care of my mold problem. Cut off all leaves with mold on them and destroy them so it doesn't spread.

Don't over water....let them be dryer than usual until mildew is gone.

Depending on the degree of infestation you may want to take healthy cuttings to start new plants -- powdery mildew is devastating to plants.

Coffee/beer really does work

I'm not sure you have mold or fungal problems. Ofcourse I can't see a sample of the plant, so I can't be sure. From your description of the symptoms on the plant, and the fact that you've had it for a while (20 years). I am inclined to suspect scale and mealybug insects. I know that Jade Plant can get mealybug. That insect is related to aphid, but is covered by a fluffy, cottony covering. Under that is a fat juicy bug. The covering helps protect it. The scale could be the black bumps. Again it's an insect covered with a hard protective shell.

Jade is very easily damaged by many common insecticides, so I wouldn't spray with ANYTHING until you read the whole label for warnings. I would also suggest bringing a sample of the infestation to your local independent garden center for their diagnosis.

Sorry it's not a lot of help,
Good luck-

You can take any of the single lobes/leaves off the plant and stick them directly into your potting medium about half-way. They should grow roots and become baby jade plants in a couple of months. Very easy to propogate.

Try spraying with a solution of vinegar and water. Spray the leaves and wipe. It might help to change soil. Water occasionally with vinegar and water. It does no harm to plants they thrive on the acidity. Good Luck

Use Deffender fungiside from Safer's. Follow the instructions on the container.
