It is never ok to cheat on a male or a female. If the sex is gone then either the couple needs to go to therapy and see what the problem is and try to work it out, or let go of the relationship all together.
Cheating not only hurts the other person, it is nothing but a big headache and I don't think it does much for the self-esteem. If a man or woman is not wanting to engage in sex their could be some kind of sexual dysfunction or a problem in the relationship such as lack of communication, trust and so on.
I don't understand why people cheat. Either go to therapy, or let the relationship go before venturing out.
I see where your getting at with your question because some people may believe it is ok to cheat if the other person isn't giving sex especially if it the woman who is not willing to engage in a sexual relationship. Some people don't even think what the underlying problem may be.

It's not ok to cheat under any circumstance. You should talk to your spouse and try to fix the problem. If they are unwilling to try, that shows they really don't care about their partner and it is probably time to seek either a good counselor or a good divorce attorney. Regardless of what people may say, sex is an important part of a healthy marriage.

No..... No.... No..... NO!
Having been "cheated" on (no sex was involve that I can figure out), I would have rather the other relationship be purely sexual instead of the emotional affair that it was. I was not faultless in her seeking what I wasn't giving her, but at least if it was purely physical, it wouldn't have hurt so bad. I know that doesn't make much sense, but it's a very difficult emotion to explain.....

no, it isn't OK to cheat for both situations. first of all it can hurt someones feelings and second this is not the solution for a bad relationship. If someone is more interested in sex than solving whatever it isn't working between them, should just break up

Both the questions could simply stop after "Is it ok for a woman to cheat" and "Is it ok for a Man to cheat" - the rest is irrelevant.
The answer is no.

Sex is a biological necessity just like food is for a healthy individual. If one partner is unable to provide sex for some reason it is better to talk it over and go ahead based on consent. It is better this way, in either case, to avoid feeling of guilt.

No, in both cases there should be divorce, then a different relationship. Most states consider sex less than once a month as grounds for divorce because of abandonment and neglect.

It is not cheating to go out and f**k if your husband or wife refuses to perform their marital duties. If either one does not want to take care of the sexual needs of their spouse then get a divorce and end it.

why yes it is ok to cheat. here's a good idea you 2 can cheat on one each other with each other. That way it's a win win situation you both get sex and no std and you can tell all your friends that you cheated on each other :)
