Don't you like this when it happens?
Shall i go and buy something i don't need or shall i give it to my local alcoholic homeless guy.

Twenty pounds of what? If it was horse manure, I'd have a jolly good wash. If it was a canoe, I'd go out and impress the girls. If it was a £20 note, I'd give your alcoholic homeless guy some food - the booze isn't going to help him.

put it back into ur old trousers and forget about it...maybe theyre magic trousers and u'll find it again in a few months only to discover that it has doubled to 40 pounds!! and if the trousers arent magic, maybe by then there will be something that you need which you can spend the 20 pounds on!! hehe!!

Obviously this is fate's way of helping you save money. This happened to me the other day, I found a tenner on a Friday which meant I had enough money to pop down the pub that night. So clearly there is something you need you just don't realise

buy something you don't need, or even better have a great big slap up take out tonight!
i once found fifty quid on the floor in tescos when i was a quid and my nan made me hand it in. i was gutted! i thought i was rich! i got a five pound tescos voucher for my honesty. yippee. so a few years later when i found a tenner on the floor in waitrose i kept the bugger with my mum's blessing!

Think about it, I know from bitter experience the alcoholic will only spend it on drink, but he will be oh so pleased - its an illness you know. However, if you need something special keep it you big hearted person you.
