depends on your bt broadband option;
for option 2,3 and 4 customers BT provides free norton 2006;
login to your home page through http://bt.yahoo.com
sign in with btinternet email address and password;
on the top right u'll find a link my services;click on that;
in the my services page u'll have a meesage that reads
"free antivirus for option 2,3 and 4 customers"click on the link there;
it will give you the download option

A hub or switch does not do any security control. It will simply direct packets to the right Ethernet port if it has switching capacities or direct a copy of the packets to all ports if it's a plain old hub.
Sooo, make sure you not only have an updated anti-virus but also a full grown firewall to ensure you privacy and security.

Umm ok I think I understand this question. Your antivirus is running out and you think your router has antivirus in it, no no no, it does not. A router can protect you against intrusion, yes, it is a great firewall, but it does not contain antivirus. If finances are a problem get one of the many free antiviruses off the net. I use AVG antivirus by Grisoft. It is free to noncommercial customers, free to home use. When you download it and before you set it up don't forget to uninstall the other antivirus that is running out.

I would get the "spell check" sorted out, before you worry about anti virus.

The site has its share of bad links but actually visiting just Phazeddl.com shouldn't result in any spyware/adware. I still would recommend not going there if you don't have years of experience behind a PC, unless you are browsing with Linux or Mac computers.

simply go to www.download.com and download avg free. its as good as any other antivirus and its free. be sure to delete any other antivirus before installing though or you pc will be slooowww!
