Haven't even been to the site. Time is short and I think it's best used developing relationships with people who are there in flesh and blood in our everyday life and not trying to find acceptance and prove ourselves to someone we might never see or speak to. Physical reality beats virtual any time of the day.

I agree that myspace is mostly garbage. I also agree that what goes in will eventually come out. In other words, what we put into our hearts and minds will also find a way out. Thus, garbage in... garbage out.
Then, there is freedom of speech. And we can not tell others what they should or should not be doing on myspace.
We can however, use myspace appropriately and set an example for others to see. As long as you are comfortable with others seeing your space on myspace.
Psersonally, I feel offensive language should not be allowed, but that is just my opinion.

I have one but I only visit on the weekends. I dont post inappropriate stuff I keep my profile simple. I'm a Christian and I love Jesus.
I at times enjoy myspace because I have found long lost friends and I also enjoy reading about people with similar interest.
Its also comedy to me... some profiles are just tacky so I do know what you mean.. but myspace isn't bad
lotsa Christians use myspace to advertise their love for Jesus.

With the millions of people on MySpace, I'd have to say a lot of those people are probably Christians!
I don't use MySpace because it seems to be a kid thing, in my opinion. They need to make a 25 and over version of MySpace. I was on Facebook through my college, but even that got to be stupid, so I deleted myself from that.

Yes! I am a Christian and I have a myspace profile. But my profile is not for the public eyes. I have my profile set to private, so if your not on my friends list, you will not be able to see my profile. But this is a way that my family that live out of town can see pictures of my children and converse back and forth. Sure cuts down on long distance! :o)

Yes. theres nothing wrong with it as long as you make sure you spend time with God as well. If you do use a myspace make sure you use it in a way that would be pleasing to God.

I use my space and I'm a Christian. I use it to post family pictures so that my friends and family can keep up to date. I don't see what the problem is... as long as you aren't searching for things that you aren't supposed to or allowing "online friends" to join your page. Maybe I'm just naive.
